The Grange is a community-based national organization that provides members the opportunity to lead, the opportunity to learn, and the ability to make a difference through community service, grassroots legislative advocacy and educational programs. The National Grange was organized in 1867. South Greenville Grange #225 was organized in 1873. The "#225" tells you that it was the 225th Grange organized in Wisconsin.

The South Greenville Grange Hall is home to the South Greenville Grange organization. It was built by the Grange members and was completed in 1928. The main floor is where you will find a huge kitchen, the dining hall, the bar area, a ticket booth, and the restrooms. The second floor is where the large meeting room/ballroom is located. At the east end you'll find the main stairway, along with a small meeting room. The west end is where you will find the stage.

How Does South Greenville Grange #225 Raise Money?
Most of our funds come from renting out our beautiful Grange Hall. The general public can rent the Grange Hall for their special events, such as weddings, showers, birthday parties, dances, holiday gatherings, classes, meetings, etc. Having a huge kitchen, a dining hall that can seat 110 guests, and a beautiful dance floor on the second floor make the Grange Hall the perfect location for your event. The maple dance floor was recently refinished and created a beautiful location for dances. Our Grange Hall can be a wonderful place to create those special memories.

Truthfully, the members of the South Greenville Grange #225 are currently putting their energies into doing some needed updating of their Grange Hall. Members are encouraged to keep track of any community service hours, which will be reported at the Wisconsin State Grange Convention.
